“I truly hope that stakeholders [including the United States, UK, EU, India, China] who will join the COP26 in Glasgow next month will follow suit and do the same thing,” he told NCE. “If they don't, we're in for a really, really rough times.

“It is fantastic to make all these background proclamations, but if they're not followed by actions, they don't mean anything,” he stated.
